zero metabolism and surgery

 Planning to ask for the sleeve surgery ( after doing much research ).
I have been told in the past by the WWC that at my age ( perimenopausal) and short statue and sex (F) that I have almost no metabolism and that is why I can be happy with not over eating. Consequensely I cant lose weight. I am booked to see the surgeon next week.
I am not a diabetic but have several other co-morbidities.

Anyone out there been in been in the same situation than had the sleeve? what was you weight loss like after surgery?
