CALGARY SUPPORT GROUP

Hi, I live in Calgary (Deep South) and am looking for a wls support group.  If there is one I would like info and if not, I wonder if there are enough people here who may be interested in starting one with me??

I would be up for it. I am in the Calgary program now and am hoping for a surgery date this year.

Have you gone to the telehealth meetings held at the Children's Hospital on the 3rd Wednesday of the month?

There is also a coffee group the last Friday of each month.

I'm in Calgary and am in the Red Deer program.  Let me know if you want to meet up and go.  I was at the telehealth meeting by myself last month.  some company would be nice. :D

the telehealth meetings are the 3rd wednesday of each month, so the next is March 21 in room B4-010 (4th floor near the elevators) at the Alberta Children's Hospital.  The meeting last about 2 hours.

The coffee group meets the last Friday of each month, next one being March 30 at Denny's on McKnight and Edmonton Trail.  Last week there was only 3 of us, but there has been more.

I hope to see you at both.  I won't feel all alone at the telehealth meetings.  i requested that they add calgary back into them.
