First weigh in/ Journal check tomorrow
Hello everyone. I am going for my first weigh in/ Journal check tomorrow and I am nervous. I am afraid of what the scale will say. I know I have lost. I can see it when I look in the mirror but I don't know how much. I know one can lose inches faster than weight. I am just hoping for 15 pounds or over.
I have been very strict with my diet. No cheating. I have incorporated exercise into my program but not as often as I want to be.
I am curious to have the nurse go through my journal and tell me whether I am eating things properly.
I am on day 42 of the one cup diet. I am finding the portion size easier yet I still don't like eating mostly protein. I find that I am not hungry until about 3 hours after a meal. I have been eating every 6 hours three times a day.

Thank you. Yes I have noticed changes...slight...not down a dress size yet but clothes are fitting better. They had me start the one cup after my first appointment.
My first appointment was meeting the nurse and she weighed and measured me. She told me I could wait a week to start the one cup so I did. I researched, bought food and then started it...one week before I meet the surgeon. When i met the surgeon he weighed me again...down 3 pounds the first week on the one cup.

Hi. This month was a slower weight loss than the first time. I am now down 39 pounds total. I met with the nutritionist on Thursday and I was down 37. Not sure how I lost 2 pounds in three days but I am not complaining.
The nutritionist went over my journal and weighed me. She's happy with what I am eating except for breakfast. She said I need to have more protein for breakfast so she suggested protein drinks. Premier Nurtition from Costco - 30 grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar. So I started drinking those for breakfast.
This week I meet with the psychologist and the psychiatrist. Next month is my gastroscopy and my meeting with the surgeon to get surgery approval.
