Hotels in Edmonton offering discount?

 In Red deer if you are in the hospital your family members can get a discounted rate when staying at the Red deer lodge. It's almost half price. 
Does anyone know if there is a hotel in Edmonton that offers this?

Hello, my husband had his surgery in November and you can get a list from   Human Resources at the Royal Alex but I found a cheaper price online at the Best Western on 51 Avenue which is a distance from the hospital but we needed a place that allowed pets. Our room there was 80-84 a night with the dog. Good luck to you. Hope this helps some

My cousin came to Edm via ambulance from Bonneyville for an emerg. surgery. Our family was told by the Alex to stay at the Chateau Louis not too far away. They got a special rate, not sure what it was....

All of the Hotels in the Kingsway/ Royal Alex area offer medical rates. Ramada was $89.......Up to $119 Best Western.
