Some are saying yes and others no. Kind of a confusing message. I phoned earlier today and am waiting to hear back. It might be another one of those case by case things.

Hi.

Thanks ladies so much for asking. I am curious to know.  Caffeine fills me up. It doesn't make me hungry.  I figured Splenda might be ok but I won't have it until I find out.

I too wonder if it is based on the patient whether they can have it.  I also think that it might be by surgeons preference.

I can't wait to find out.

Hi! I was told no artificial sweeteners if you can help it. Stimulates your appetite in some people.

Mykmini and MrsGreness....did you find out the official word from the clinic regarding splenda?

I have not been having it at all. I have been staying away from artificial sweeteners but I would love to have one in a coffee maybe once a week or so.

Splenda, aka sucrolose is an artificial sweetener that was discovered while scientists were making a pesticide. It is equivalent to deet and should be avoided at all costs. Read Dr Mercolas book titled Sweet Deception.
Take care
