My 1st NSV
It has been 12 weeks since my surgery and I have been doing great. I have to admit there are some days when I get a bit down because I just don't enjoy eating as much as I used to. I have lost about 50 lbs so I am happy. 50lbs more to go!
But...yesterday I was in Old Navy with my sister and they had some great sales on. They had some really cute spring jackets on sale for $12.00 and I grabbed a hanger which was marked as a 2X. I tried on the coat and it fit perfectly. As I was taking it off, I noticed the tag in the jacket said XL!! I couldn't believe it. I almost started crying. I though that maybe it was mismarked so I grabbed a very cute jean jacket in XL and tried it on. It fit as well! I was astounded. I walked out of the store with both! I had to force myself to leave the store or I would have bought much more. I am SO excited. This surgery has opened up a whole new world for me and I couldn't be more thankful!

As everyone knows, being overweight it can be hard to buy clothes and you rarely see great deals like $12.00 for a jacket. The cheapest I ever bought a piece of clothing was about $29 because of my clothing size. I can't wait to buy inexpensive, yet nice clothing.
You must be so proud of yourself. I am proud for you. Congratulations!
Kee.
