I did it I booked my surgery :)

Now getting prepared for the pre op and post op meal plans.

Just a question for you, why are you having it done in Mexico, why not go through the program here in Edmonton?

The little bit of investigating I did in Edmonton seemed to indicate I would not qualify for AB Health paid surgery and if I did it was a 2-4 year process and so many hoops to jump through.  Although if I could connect with a support group or mentor I would be interested in that.

 Good for you! Congratulations. I too used Dr Aceves and have nothing but good things to say about my experience there. I hope you will be as happy as I am. Thank you Blossom. I will do that, as I am doing this on my own, going alone and few people know about it, I would certainly appreciate the insights and knowledge from someone who have been there. Two weeks to go and the count down begins. :)

The Edmonton Weight Wise Clinic is available to all Albertans who meet the criteria and for myself- it was absolutely amazing.

I was days away from booking to go to Mexico to have surgery when I first heard about the clinic and in doing my research I determined that I was willing to wait to go through Weight Wise.

Not everyone has the time to wait and if you can afford it, a lot of people have truly wonderful experiences with Dr. Aceves.
