I seem to be the only one i know or have heard of that has not lost atleast 100lbs in less than a yr!  I know people that have lost that in 6 months after surgery!
it is my fault to. junk foods, eating for entertainment or out of boredom. My SO and his constant need for chinese buffets.. but still. I was certain with the surgery that being under 200 lbs with in the year was a no brainer!!
Dec 8th will be one year...I am only up and down a couple pounds from being under the 200!! Please please let me lose it with in the next 7 days!! I want onederland!!!!
Kee your post is so me right now too!!

No, you are not the only one.  I'm over 2 years post-op and I still haven't hit 100 lbs since surgery. Sitting at 94 lbs and holding for the past year or so. However, I lost 152 lbs overall from my highest weight ever.  So, that's the accomplishment I try to focus on instead.

Cheers!

Don't worry it will come, any literature on his surgery that i read is that 12-18 months is the average for the 100lb weight loss goal.  remember we are all different and slow is always better especially in the long run.  while losing your still having a life, keep up the great work, it will come for sure.

I hear you.  Except I have only lost 20 lbs in 5 weeks and wonder if that is slow.  I am sure most people have lost more than 20 lbs in the first 5 weeks.
I know you will hit onederland soon.  We just have to all get through the christmas season - eek!

I've only lost 55-60 lbs with the surgery (VSG) and it will be a year in January.

I'd lost quite a bit (60 lbs) while waiting for surgery though.

I was hoping to get down another 20 lbs with the surgery and hopefull that will come i the next six months.

I think I've gotten a little down and lazy about my very slooooow results.

The big picture, they are fantastic results, but yes I'm super envious of the people with the fast results! :)

There's always that lurky mean voice in the back of my head that I'm going to wake up one morning and not only be BALD from my hairloss...but all my weight will have come back! GAHHHH!!!

Me, being only five pounds under 200...well it makes me nervous....like an ex boyfriend stalking me and wanting me back!  EEK!

I think I'd like to put a restraining order on my fat please?....that it cannot come near me or it will be apprehended and put in jail?  Doesn't that sound great?  :)

Take care!

LMAO @ Dreena  You sure have a way with words and I get every one of them!

I did find my handy list of averages for my surgery and i does say 1 yr 80lb loss or more 18 months 90 or more with my starting weight. Thanks for reminding me arlene :)

I guess its just the nagging little voices and being nervous that i will always be over 200lbs! However, I will not! i still have a yr to lose the extra weight. My goal is 175lbs.  I weighed that at 17 and thought I was huge! lol when I look back..hmm i looked good, now its my goal weight... funny how life works!!

Thanks guys, nice to hear I am not alone!!

My goal is 175 too...(and then 165 if I reach 175).  Does that make sense?
You'd think I'd be happy with just one goal...bwhahah!

Ok, so I have 20 lbs to go.  That's not too much RIGHT!

Time to kick my kabooty into action!

REMEMBER....NOT GAINING during CHRISTMAS is a SUCCESS!
Maintain!
