my lap band is finally out after 2 1/2 years.

I went to see Dr. Karmali last Thursday and he made an appt to take out my band Saturday. Everything is fine. Woohoo my band is finally out 2 1/2 years after original lap band put in. I guess the band was not the proper surgery for me. I hated my stupid finiky band. Well see about the sleeve in a few months.

I had my band for 4 years before finally having it removed last fall and was sleeved in May this year. The quality of life with the band was dismal. Things are great since getting the sleeve. My weight loss has been slow but the sleeve has caused me no problems......complety different from the band.
