Emotional Eating

Hi Everyone,

So, I'm down about 5lbs in my first week of the 1 cup diet.  I need some help thought.  I know why i'm doing this.  To be able to use a tool to live a longer, healthier, happier life.

I have an issue.  My heart is in it, but my head is still battling depression, emotional eating and eating out of boredom.

I don't know how to combat it.  Also finding it hard to get the correct amount of protein in as well.  I'm less then 25% of my daily intake is protein.  I'm thinking of doing protein shakes instead.  It's less work.  With my schedule, that may work better for me.

Any suggestions or help?

Have you had surgery?  I am just about 3 weeks out from surgery and I am just finally getting enough of my protein.........found lemonade at Herbal Magic that has 5 protien for every 8 ounces......it has helped greatly!!   The depression and emotional eating will come around.  I find I am hungry every 2 hours.........so I have to watch what I eat not just the amount!!
