Just wondering how everybody handles those intense, head hunger, give it to me now, PMS, out of control cravings!
I'm on the pre-op diet and some days its very hard to stick to it! Any advice?
Thanks

I too am on the 1 Cup pre-op and am having a real hard time.  I am soooooo hungry ALL the time.   I am sorry I do not have any helpful advise.  I could use some myself.  I am having a hard time imagining being this hungry for the next nine months.  HOW!

I'm there too. I don't have cravings so much as eating out of boredom and routine.  I need to figure out things to do to keep me occupied at home during the bad eating times.  While i'm at work, i'm ok just not at home.

Hi Lisa and all.

What I did when I had head hunger is I either drank water, went for a quick walk something that took my mind off food.

either that or find something that is healthy, fruit, cheese (I know it is suppose to be a no no just don't go over board).  What you need is something that will fill your mouth with flavor but does not give you to many calories, fat or sugar.

Hang in there.  It does get better.  I lost 45 pounds on the 1 cup a meal diet before my surgery.  Since surgery I have lost almost 50 more pounds.  Everything is well worth it.

Good luck and hang in there.

Sheila
