Never mind the hair LOSS, when does it RETURN?

So I've been expecting the hair loss.

When does it start growing BACK?

Yes, I've got the nioxin shampoo...not really changing much.

I'm in month 9 now, loss has slowed down some, but regrowth hasn't started.
Fret fret, worrry fret.  So NOW i'm starting to freak out about every hair that leaps out of my head.

Oh boo.

I'm just looking for a light at the end of the tunnel. 

I normally have hair that grows SLOWLY, so maybe mine will start back in a few months now that I've crossed the threshold?

What do you figure?

Well I know it's different for everyone but I have some fuzzy regrowth now at 13 months out. It's actually grown enough now that when I put my hair up ina pony tail I've got fine new hair all stuck up, I can't get it to slick down even with gel or hairspray. But at least it's growning back now.

Okay...so maybe I'll have some hair for my birthday.  (In February) that's better than cake! 

I'm 9 months out too... and Mine isn't falling out that much anymore, and yes you can see through the hair on top of my head... gonna be a bummer for Christmas parties..LOL I have those little fuzzy whisps of hair that don't stick down either. I was told it starts to grow back after 12 months post op or when your weight levels off. I really wi**** was sooner!! 

I'm not sure what helps the process... I'm getting 150 - 200g protein a day and drinking my 8 glasses of water and not coloring my hair and  taking a hair and nail supplement and I don't think its helping much!!

I have 2 hair peices though and clip in extensions that help me too not focus on it too much.

Hope fully soon it will start :)

its been along time for me to get it back, but sure notice it coming back, thats what the hair dresser said, and i am two years out in april, so it has been along time for me, and my hair loss was extreme also.  good luck, hope it comes in really soon, and congrats on the great success of your vsg...tammy
