Ok so I just past the 9 month Post op mark and I'm stuck/stalled since August......Getting fustrated....My weight bounces between 180-175. Doesn't matter what i do or don't eat, if I do or don't workout...I'm fustrated..My nurse told me the end of the line is up to me...it all depends on how hard I work at it and take it seriously..which i do and yet nothing!! I am working toward my goal of 160 for Christmas..my my body won't even give me a 2lb loss  let alone a 15lb loss!!

This is what I'm doing:
Watching my sodium intake, protein intake, carb intake, working out and drinking tons of tea( Water isn't working...can't seem to get it in). I take my vitamins and get my rest...so what am I doing wrong???

Please HELP ME

If your doing everything right, just be patient!! Your body is adjusting. Then before you know it, it will surprise you with another loss when you least expect it!! This is what's happening to me to.

My Nutritionist and I had a similar conversation a while back and she was telling me that I needed to change up my food and times when I was eating. My body was stuck in a rut of knowing It would get fed at 7,12,4 and 8. I also was eating pretty much the same thing everyday the only thing I varied on was a snack item.
Also another suggest that helped me and quite a few other who have stalled in the pass is changing up your calorie intake daily to  trick the body and mind. I usually eat anywhere from 700-1000 calories a day so what I did was start on a Monday with 700 calories, Tuesday 800, Wednesday 900, Thursday 1000 and then back to 700 on Friday, 800 Saturday, 900 on Sunday. Of course you will have to choose the calories range for your own intake but it works.
Also remember it's important that you drink some form of water weather is 10 calorie vitamin water or crystal light, I was told that even decaf tea make the body retain fluids. I couldn't stomach water and now I can manage it but only with flavor, I sometimes just add 1/2 package of individual crsytal light so that's it's not so plain and I don't get an upset tummy this way.
So Congrats on your weight loss thus far and pat yourself on the back for a job well done. I wish you continued success.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't.  Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened.  My Surgery was September 21/2010

Me too dear!  I had the sleeve and I'm about 10-15 lbs heavier than you.

I'm stuck too.  I think I need to shake up my workout and really track my food intake very carefully.

I'm feeling tired alot too, so I'm not sure that I can afford to lose any nutrition by taking away calories.

Maybe some NEW foods and more dense protein earlier in the day would help me.

Let me know if you figure out anything and I will do the same!
