Yeah! I finally have an appt.

Thanks for the reply newmmom35.  Your reply made me feel better.  I have no idea where I am on the list.  I wish I had know I could ask that when I called.  But now I feel like I would be pestering them if I called again, and Lord knows I don't want to **** anyone off there.  I'll just have to try to be patient.  I will be watching your progress.  I've wondered if they have turned anyone down at the first appointment.  Good Luck and Happy Lossing.

Congratulations on getting your appointment. I am so happy for you. It must have been a great relief when you got the call.  I am still hoping that my referral got through. I am sure I am at the bottom of the list but I am trying to remain positive. 

Hi everyone! Just an update... I had my appt. on Wed. and it was good.  Dr. Gregg seemed really nice and knowledgable, so I felt comfortable with him.  Christine the bariatric nurse is such a sweetheart. Just like everyone else said.
Started my 1 cup diet and I have to admit im struggling a bit. Im drinking tons of water though which helps. Once I 'm on it a bit longer I'm sure it will get easier.
My next appt. is on Oct 11th for my first weigh in. ANybody else going to be there then?
