ok i thought i could add photos directly on here, but i guess not (or it has changed)

here is the link to my before/after abdominalplasty/pubic lift.

this surgery was done on Aug 16, 2011...the drains have been removed now and i am still waiting for some of the swelling to go down and then i will be taking some new photos to put up...check back afterwards :)

My surgeon was Dr Toy and he removed 4 lbs of skin off my abdomin.

The pictures of me in purple are of the morning of my surgery...all other photos are within 3 days of my surgery. I was made a new bellybutton.

First of all I want to say Congrats on making it to this part of your journey. I've looked at your pictures and you look amazing. Dr. Toy did an amazing job. I can't imagine what the end result is going to be after all the swelling and healing. I also glad that you were able to do the private lift covered, thats awesome. What was your secret or did he just offer to cover it.

The way Dr. Toy explained it to me is that when he pulls down the skin from the top he also pulls up the skin from the bottom and then makes his cut. You would automatically get a pubic lift by getting the panniculectomy.

Thanks Jill for that info, I guess it would make sense. Congrats to you also, you girls are so lucky to have made it to this part of your journey. I thought it would be my refreral time on Monday but it wasn't and it was a hugh let down but I'll survive and hope that in February it'll happen. Sending well wishes your way. I didn't even know they did pubic lifts, so that's great info for the future.
Can't wait to see your pics after the swelling is down!
