Lorraine called today...scared the poop out me because i thought she was cancelling. Date moved to september 13. I should have told her she could call back daily to move it up if she wanted.

Hi! I'm so excited for you!! I see Dr. Birch for a second appt. Sept. 19th ( I saw him last week and he wanted to give me time to make a surgical choice). I've decided the VSG will be my best tool to help get rid of this type 2 diabetes. I'm going to follow your journey closely so be good and have an easy surgery with no pain, no complications and bounce out of bed ok??? LOL!!! Guess that bouncing might be a tad unrealistic!!! Anyway, just wanted to reach out as I'm nervous. Are you???

Not nervous at all to be honest. For me the VSG made the most sense, has everything I want. Although I have little in the way of co-morbidities it was the one that I thought could help me be successful in the long term. Feel free to contact me if you have questions through the process, I am nothing but an open book. I hope to bounce back as soon as possible...so here's hoping!
