Anyone from Alberta had a revision out of Province?

 I have a lapband done in 2003.  I would like to have a DS and send an email to Dr. Gagner who will be calling me later in the week.  I rang AHC and they said that if the operation cannot be done in Alberta - I would be covered Canada wide.  Can anyone here confirm this?  Any advice would be appreciated
