OMG I've had so many NSV that I don't know if I can seriously remember them all, but here's goes some on them.
~ Being able to cross my legs both to the left and right, it's a new habit.
~ Smaller sizes all the way from a 26-10.
~ Shopping at "Regular Stores"
~Touching my toes.
~ Walking long distance without being exhausted.
~ Running (having since early high school like 1988)
~ Fitting in an airplane seat more comfortably without an extender.
~ Shopping at Victoria Secrets.
~ Not being recognized by Family and Friends.
~ Sleeping better.
~ New found hips and collar bones.
~ My dimples are back but my belly button has disappeared..lol..
~ Can actually stand the heat, most days I'm still cold.
~ Don't need an afternoon nap to get through the day, more energy.
~ Feeling healthier and more fit.
~ Enjoyable intimate time with hubby, amazing changes.
~ Most importantly I've learn to love myself and be happy with who I am.

Kee.

Shawna!!

What a wonderful list of NSVs!  What triumphs you've had!

I'm so glad that I've posted this as well, and that so many of you are sharing your victories with me too.

This gives me MORE to think about and  MORE to look forward to :)

Thank you.

I've been looking at this all week and despite my head protesting I am going to make myself write out some of this.  The last month has been pretty static for me with very little weight loss, and a great deal of stress.  I hope writing out the NSV's will hep as there haven't been many Scale victories to speak of lately.
1. Airplane seatbelts...I do not now stare at the front of the plane hoping that noone will come sit next to me because I "overflow"
2. Riding a bike - I don't look at the tires constantly and wonder if they are flat from my weight
3. Chairs...all kinds of chairs...I don't care anymore...they all fit
4. Leg crossing - yes this is an obsession for me also
5. The ability to buy clothes at costco - I think I own one of every t-shirt that costco has sold this summer
6. Mark's work warehouse -  Man I love how their pants FIT
7. Shoes...and hopefully boots in the fall - Shoes no longer need to be wide and here's hoping boots will fit in the fall - my calves are never going to be small.  The doc said after looking at my full body scan " those are the most muscular calves I have ever seen...and not just on obese people - you know they won't change a whole lot".  It is the one part of my body that I am not offeneded to hear that they are big...lol
8. Loud breathing - I don't have to be paranoid about it anymore...
9. Flexibility - I love being able to stretch like I did when I was younger
10. MOST IMPORTANT - the influence of role modelling for my daughter - she is healthier because of my choices and I am thrilled about it

okay...that wasn't easy to get to 10 but the exercise was useful.  I need to refocus my energy on the positives that I am seeing and continue to work so that when the call comes I am as ready as possible.

Thanks Dreena!
