Any one in and around Okotoks??

Just wondering if there is anyone in or around Okotoks who has gone through this surgery?  I am in the process of planning my surgery and would love to chat with someone who has done it already!

Hi Sheila,

Thanks for sharing with me.  I went to your profile and you have really been put through the ringer with the gallstones   Only another month and life will be dramatically diffrent!  I am planning on having my surgery in Mexico with wither Dr. Pompa or Dr. Alvarez.  I am curious as to what type of pre-op diet you have to do with your doctor.  I do not have a date yet...but do know that the more time I have to pre-pare and start making changes the better off I will be from a mental stand point.

It is so nice to have this site as a resource of information and a HUGE support tool!  Did you go through the Weight Wise Program in Calgary??
