I have finally got a date for my VSG surgery!!!

Yay! I was called today to get my date of July 27, 2011. 6 weeks from today I will be on the losers bench. I am very excited. I will have my gallbladder taken out, I will have a hernia repaired and meet my new sleeve.

Yay!!!! Everyone is going to have to scooch over because I am soon going to be sitting down.

Awesome for you girl!! The wait will go fast. I had my three month checkup yesterday with Christine. My weight loss is doing great and I feel great. Clothes dont fit any more but who needs clothes LOL.

You are doing awesome. I know you are happy with your progress. I am happy for you and your progress.

I have lost quite a bit of weight preop and all my clothes are so big and baggy on me, but you know I am very happy about it.

I am going to use this time to lose as much weight as I can in the weeks to come while I wait for the time to pass.

2nd goal acheived June 4th/2011. 2 weeks after my 8th Month Surgiversary.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't. Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened. My Surgery was September 21/2010

Thanks everyone. I am very excited to finally have a date. It has been a long time coming. I started this whole process probably 4 years ago when I was in a program here in Calgary for the LapBand. The program got turfed for lack of funds, and I was discharged from the clinic. I never gave up hope, I knew one day I would be on the losers bench, NOT sitting but working it. I said sitting down meaning joining the group who have come before me.

Well, any words of wisdom or advice is always welcomed. I will need all I can get.
