Next EBSG Meeting - Monday, June 6

The June Edmonton Bariatric Peer Support Group (EBSG) meeting will be on Monday, June 6. Starting at 5:30pm located in the Jean Hamilton Conferene Room in the Commnity Services Centre at the Royal Alex Hospital.

Special guest speaker may be Dr. Shazeer Karmali, Surgeon, for the Weight Wise clinic. Waiting for attendence confirmation, which should occur tomorrow.

i'm going to try to make this one...

I've been hooping Mondays but we break for the summer and the fall schedules may have more flexibility for me to come out to the meetings! So looking forward to coming to meetings!

That would be great.  We would love to see both of you at the meeting.  Dr. Karmali is still up in the air.  I was supposed to follow-up with him after my surgery on Tuesday, but he was detained.  So, I've harassed his admin assistant to get an answer right away.  Cross your fingers.

It is confirmed...Dr. Karmali is unable to attend the ESBG meeting on Monday due to an unexpected meeting.  However, he has agreed to committ to attending a meeting in fall, most likely.  Disappointing news, but we still have a jam packed meeting on deck for Monday.  See you there!
