Thankyou, it just feels great to be going into the summer with only 40 more lbs to go. :)

Great news!
Just a quick question...I thought you had to wait till you were done losing the weight before you could have panni surgery? Or just a certain percentage?

Thanks

They told me a minimun of a 100-120lbs and they gave me the summer for my wgt loss to stabalize as I seem to be slowing down. I have the summer to loose my last 30-40lbs before I get my surgery appt I think it also depends on your wgt loss and when you've reached or surpassed the 70 percent wgt loss goal. They told me average loss after RYN is 70 percent of total wgt needed to be lost.

At this point i'm not sure, i know it will be done in Medicine Hat, but i won't know who the surgeon will be until my appt. in Sept.

I have a friend who had the panni done by Dr. Nohr.  i thought he did them all.

If he does that would be great, and you're right that skin would be pulled down. But the pics I saw it's not enough for me and a true tummy tuck they reposition the belly button as well and make the abdomen firm.

Yeah, I guess it would depend just how much loose skin there is.  I have two good sized rolls now, one below and one above my naval.  So I am pretty sure that when I lose weight those rolls will still be there just flatter and more hangy.  Whether a panni will be enough, I am doubting it.  But I am hoping so.  Something is better than nothing I guess.
