May EBSG Peer Support Group Meeting
Hi All!
The next Edmonton Bariatric Peer Support Group (EBSG) meeting goes on Monday, May 16 in 5-20 Humanities Building on the University of Alberta campus. Originally, we were support to have a discussion with Dr. Karmali, but he has had to postpone. I am anticipating that he will join us for our June meeting instead.
So, please plan to join us, if you are able. All are welcome.

WLS goal reached Feb 2012... now on to my body reconstruction Early 2014!!
Generally, the community of weight loss surgery patients get together to discuss their journeys, share experiences, ask advice, etc etc. On occasion, we have special guests like Dr. Karmali who is part of the Weight Wise clinic and performed many of the VSG surgeries.
We also do social events and we have a regular walking group who go out one evening a week in various locations around Edmonton. Next week may the River Valley around the Royal Glenora.
Aside from that, the meetings are a way for folks to get out from behind their computers and socialize.
