Sarah is definiately serious. :-) Sarah is pretty great...not to toot her horn or anything. If you have any questions, I know there are many of us that would love to help. I have learned a ton from everyone on this site and the people from the support group as well. We are have a meeting on May 16 at 5:30 at the U of A (school, not hospital) for the support group of you want to come. I honestly LOVE our support group...they have helped me countless times. And congrats on getting your surgery date!

Thanks Adrianna. I've just recently discovered this group. It helped me make my decision on which surgery was best for me.

When I see tickers like yours (130+ lbs lost) it just blows my mind. I can only dream of losing that much weight and how wonderful you must look and feel!!!

Thanks Debbie: :-) Yeah, some days it blows my mind on the amount that I lost...and others I still think of myself at 360lbs not 230 that I am now. Just so you know, I put down my heavest weight, not the weight at surgery so I haven't lost 130 since surgery...

I took the liberty and called Lorraine this morning out of curiosity...looks like summers end sometime for me but did let her know I could do it at the drop of a hat if something came up...who knows. For now I have to lose the 3 lbs I gained on the cruise before my course next week...bring on the water and elliptical!

How wonderful to have someone to go through this whole experience with. There are two others from my Emotional Eating group that are on the waiting list but they are both getting the by-pass and not until late summer or early fall.

I'm very new to this list. Is there a way to send a PM so that we can exchange phone numbers without broadcasting them to the world?
