Not what I expected/hoped, but I think I'll be ok
I'm going to keep on the plan the dietitian worked out for me and gradually add more exercise to give my metabolism a boost. Hopefully I'll be able to keep on at the 1# a week for a bit longer that way. I figure it's worth a shot.

Nothing ever happens without a reason, and the reason for this may have come up today. I'm committee for my Mum (she has dementia) and it looks like it's a good thing I can do my diet on autopilot as she needs more of my attention for the next while. (yay autopilot, right?)
I'll still be checking in here and working on building the amount of exercise I get each day in hopes of revving my engine a bit.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't. Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened. My Surgery was September 21/2010
I'm working on building my exercise routine a bit in hopes that I can keep the 1# a week bit going for awhile longer. Every pound helps, right? I'm hoping for another 20# or so.
I see you're about to make your next goal. Good for you! I'll be watching for the fireworks!

WLS goal reached Feb 2012... now on to my body reconstruction Early 2014!!
I spent some time on my recumbent exercise bike today - I figure that at the very least it'll help build muscle for riding the regular bike I bought last week. (I wobble a lot on it, but is it ever fun!)

If you want any info on self pay, send me a PM and I'll tell you about my experience. I chose it because I was technically too light for WW at a BMI of 36, I would have been put on a diet and then booted off as soon as I got under 35 so I made this decision for myself that I'm so happy I did!

I'm positive you will continue to be successful doing this without the surgery although I don't fully understand all of the reasons behind their decision. That's cool that you got a new bike. I don't think I have been on a bike in over 25 years. I don't know if I would remember how to ride one but it sounds like fun!
