Frustrated to Tears

In these past 2 weeks I've went from 180 to 184 as of this morning. I'm not eating any different than I have been but I'm still at 6.5 months out not getting in the required fluids. Last week I exercised like crazy. I was walking/running 5 km and spending time in the gym and then this week we had snow and life got in the way so I didn't exercise much and I was so pissed off from gaining that I didn't mind that I pushed the exercise to the side. Now I'm feeling guilty and thinking I'm doing something wrong.
My last visit at the clinic I was told I was loosing too fast seeing as in 4.5 months I had lost 52% of my excess weight and now I'm going back to my appointment next week with only 4 pounds loss in 2 months that is if the scale stops moving up ward. I so wanted to be in the 170's and now there's no hope of that happening in the next 4 days.
I'm thinking todays gonna be a fluid only day hoping that this excess weight is fluid retention and fluid in should result and fluid out. My hands are tight and swollen so I hope I'm right.
I guess I just needed to vent and I've done that now, thanks for listening. Now if someone could send me a patients geenie i'd have it made.
Hope you are all wonderful.

Kee.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't.  Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened.  My Surgery was September 21/2010

Stay strong Kee.  Go back to doing what you were doing and it will all fall back into place again.  Are you nearing your cycle perhaps?  I know you know this but remember the hormonal changes that will happen especially around cycle time.  I have an IUD and had not had a period in months (that was awesome), now that I have dropped 60 lbs and my insulin production is normalized I am starting to have periods...which without fail means a gain during that week.  Just a thought.  I've seen you be so very supportive to so many people out there on this site so use some of that positive energy on yourself.  No beating yourself up over a tough week.  Time to pick up and dust yourself off and get back on the horse...YOU CAN DO IT!

Hey lady! That happened to me a few weeks ago when I started exercizing a lot. I blamed the "supermoon". I really had no idea why but was just part of a stall I think. And then it went a way as soon as I relaxed about it.
Our new bodies are a mystery...

I had a bad day yesterday too! I was in a parking lot and this woman yelled at me that I was fat. Out of nowhere! I dont' think this has happened to me since I was a teen. All I could think was, hmm you should have seen me about six months ago...
I started to think more and I realized I was wondering if someone would think I was overweight anymore and it was like out of the blue someone verbalized my fear. Bizarre.

I am trying not to take it personally... but I have to admit it really hurt!
So I went shopping. Retail therapy!

Anyway I hope you feel better tomorrow, try not to stress, you are doing an amazing job Kee!

Kee, keep your chin up it has happened to me also and as a nurse it definately sounds like fluid retention. I'm at almost 5 months and have lost 99 lbs which is almost 2/3's of my wgt and have had the same thing happen, its just ur body saying slow down it needs to catch up to what's happening. Try to take a deep breath and relax it will all work out soon and the wgt will start to come off again.

Thanks everyone for your support, it is very much appreciated. After uping my protein for a couple of days and getting as much fluid in as humanly poosible the scale showed a 180.2 this morning. That makes me a happy camper.
I know I sometimes lose site of how far I've come and I tend to dwell on the negative but I know I can come on here and  you girls will steer me back to where I need to be.
Thanks again.

Kee.
