So i decided i best get my act in gear and start taking my vitamins now that i am able to tolerate my fluids and food. Chewable mulitvit - acceptable, will take it only cuz i have to, has ok taste. Iron - didnt even notice it. Calcium with D3 - tasted like drinking citrusy chalk, eww but i guess if i have to, may have to find a different one. Now the B12, there is no way in H*** that i will ever be able to take that junk again. Uh uh no way no how. Its 1ml drop under the tounge hold for 30 seconds and swallow. I out it under my tongue, not to bad, i held for 30, not to bad, i swallowed...... what the heck was that cr*p. I almost imediately threw up and wasted all the other vits i had just taken. GROSS............... anyways, what do you guys take for B12???? Need new option. I will seriously monitor my levels and take injections if i have to over the taste of that ever again. I battled nausea for 20 mins after!!

I think there are dissolvable under the tongue that isn't gross.  There is a place called Celebreate Bariactric Supplements that sell on line, and you can request a sample to be sent to you.  I have tried most of the, and the are not to bad.  I had yet to try the B12 but to help you, I just did it and it is Cherry flavor, and it is dissolving while I type this.  as it dissolves I just swallow it.  Not to bad at all.  No bad taste, just a little chalky but it goes away quite fast.

Here is the weblink you can try: www.celebratevitamins.com

When I ordered I received an email asking if I had received them yet, and at that time I had not.  But in a couple of days I did, and I really liked them.  I think I am going to order my multivitamins through them.  And if I am required to take B12 I will order those as well.  I think I should be able to find Calcium Citrate here in Calgary.

GNC sells an under the tongue dissovable B12 (1000mcg) with Folate (400mcg) that tastes really good, I have the cherry flavour.  They come in a box of 120 pills, I don't know the price because it must have fallen off the box (sorry!).  I assume it's about $20 or so.

It's kind of nice because you don't have to order them online and I believe GNC will take them back if you don't like them.

Hope that helps!

Jamieson has a dissolvable strip that goes on your tongue that is pretty good. The is also no after taste which I love. I know the drops you are taking about cause I also have them and they are nasty. If I didn't have B12 issues I wouldn't be worried but heck the minute I forget to take it and my other vitamins which happens quite often my level drop fast.

Oh ya I got these strips at Walm-Mart.
