So Damn Happy Today
I'm so damn happy today!!!!!
I went rummaging around in my sewing room storage stuff looking for a specific piece of fabric. I didn't find it but I did find a bag of clothing that I used to wear shortly after my marriage.... I've been married for 25 years come this summer. I took a look at all of them and decided to try a couple on... OMG THEY FIT!!!!!!!
I found a pair of jeans that are a size 16 and I couldn't ask for a better fit... then a beautiful, short top in a size 14.. it's beautiful!!!! For the past many years I've been very self concious about my belly that I've always worn shirts that were long enough to cover it... but holy cow!!! My belly is so much smaller that with the jeans on you can't really see that I have a big belly any more... I'm so Freakin' Pumped!!!!!!!!!!
I know the clothes are out of date (Big Time) but the top is timeless... or at least has come back in style... but either way... I HAD to wear them today!!! just because I could!!!!
My scale has been in a holding pattern for the past six weeks or so... but the inches are still coming off... I LOVE IT!!!

I just gave a bag of clothes I wore about 6 or so years ago to my friend who is a year post-op. I can't wait to be able to fit into them again myself! (she will return them if/when she shrinks out of them for me post-surgery).
I bet you could fit into your wedding dress again if you tried too! =)
