Got my surgery date today for Monday Feb 28

So got a call this afternoon at work  around 2:30pm that Dr. Farries had a cancellation and I can go Monday. I was on the short cancellation list.  This upcoming Monday the 28th. I asker her if I could have 5 mins. LOL I started calling my husband, my mom, my dad, my boss lol it was what do I do. We have 2 young boys (5 and 4) so I need help for a few days while I'm away at hospital.
She called me back 3:10 and wondered if I knew yet, she said how about 10 more mins. I said just book it. So looks like I'm in the hospital Monday morning for 9:30.
It all happened so fast!! nervous and excited and know I wont sleep this weekend and have a house to clean and laundry to do. Cant belive it finally came.

So i'm gonning to be on the losers bench now

ahhhhhh....how exciting...you'll be ready...how fun is this...it is way better to have it come up fast, waiting is such a drag...what surgery are you having...and all the best heh...will be praying for you...tammy

Wow that is such short notice..... Good luck!! You will do great! Out of curiousity how long ago were you approved for surgery??

I think on my Jan appt my booking card went in, then on my Feb 8th appt I had to take some medicine to  kill h pilori (ulcers) and then get my ECG and blood work done. My next appt was for March 8. I seen him the end of Oct, so not to bad. Feels like forever though

that is so very exciting, congrats!!!!

As the time nears, I get a little nervous. Got the list made out for what has to happen with the kids. My dad is up to help the hubby out with the boys. With such short notice he wont be able to get much time off work. I'm ready though.
