WLS Support Group in Calgary

I have been looking for a support group here in Calgary for WLS.  I have not found one.  I know there is a teleconfence once a month with the support group in Red Deer at the Childrens hospital, but unfortunately, I have a prior engagement on Wednesday evenings and unable to attend. 

Does anyone know of any other support groups here in Calgary someone can join?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi girls I am also in the calgary area and have looked for a support group for years. I just celebrated my 10 year anniversary in Dec. But time makes you forget and support would be wonderful. Tara

Are the Telehealth meetings still going on? Has anyone heard of any other support groups here in Calgary? I live in NE (Marlbrough/Pineridge area), and I am currently 5 weeks Post-Op with a RNY. I'm having a really tough time trying to cope with everything and was wondering if there was some support out there. 

Hi Sheila, my name is Eydie and I have been trying for a couple of years to get a group going in the Calgary area, if you are interested and know anyone else who is, I am willing to help get something going;  I had a lap band in 2008 and am struggling right now, I Winter in Arizona and attend some awesome support groups here so I have quite a bit of info. I will be home in early April.
