Went to see the plastic surgeon on Dec 6th and off for surgey March 22nd!!! in Calgary...Didn't think it would be this quick for a panniculectomy covered by ABH.

Congrats thats awesome news. Isn't is just great that ABH will cover the panni removal, I know it's not the same as a tumy tuck but hey it's pretty close and being free is a wonderful perk.

Hi Kee,

Yes, it is nice to have removed. My panni is huge and thick. Not just loose skin. Like the PS said, "it's horrific"..LOL..The truth, right? Tummy tuck would be nice, but, I'm not looking to be too vain..hehe!.. This will be a nice treat and not have to worry about sweat and skin break down in the present/future.

Hey Tammy..I just went to my family doctor and got the referral and the PS sent it off after seeing him. I think ABH recognizes the potential risk for skin irritations and back problems.

Hey thanks girl....wasn't sure how it went...wow they said it would take about one year to get the surgery so i am delighted..and sure hoping at my one year in april i will be able to get a refferral...i wonder if a person can pay the extra amount and get a tt along with the panni that is paid for and i would love to have my innner thighs to be tucked and then i will be so thankfl...sorry i did not see you chatting to me..tammy...
