Well today I am celebrating my 11 month surgiversay!
I saw my surgeon today and got my referral for my tummy tuck/pani which I was told is covered under AHC.
I weighed in at 176 on their scale, which is a total loss of almost 120lbs!
I also ran into a few friends at the clinic where we all showed off our skin and talked to new people waiting to have surgery about our experiences....
I hope all is well with everyone!

I was one of the new people!  Thanks to you and the other ladies for the info.
Dr. Karmali booked me for surgery - well, the process - today, so it's a major step forward.  Will post timelines to help other newbies.
Congrats on the referral for the tummy tuck/pani!

Hi there all I am new to the obesity help site but I wish someone would have told me about this site when I first started at the clinic. It is amazing. Thank-you to all who have shared and posted the before and after photos, trackers etc.  I have been obese my whole life, I was only what I would consider a healthy weight once when I literally ate nothing in college. But even starving I could not maintain a lower wt.  I have carried a tremendous amount of shame my whole life for being fat and this makes me sad,  When I see the changes this decision I have made to get surgery might lead to, I for the first time in my life,  feel hopeful about my weight.  thank-you.  I am on the up hill stretch towards surgery a gastroscope on the 17th then hopefully hear from Dr. Karmali ( by the way who is very nice) about a surgery date.

Now to figure out how to get my trackers etc to post like you guys have. LOl. I am not a retard but so far I suck at setting up my avatar.
