I feel like a million bucks!!!

Hi Everyone,

I'm feeling so good today that I just want to burst!!!!!

Last weekend I got to go clothes shopping and bought lots of clothes that I never would have thought to fit me... Most of the pants needed to be taken in at the waist (I actually have one now!) so I couldn't wear them right away. But they're done now, so today is the first day with all new clothes. I went from having a size 32 be small for me... now I'm into an 18 and still have to take in the waist. My tops are an XL, down from 6X. I'm totally amazed!!

I guess it never really hit HOME before. I put on my new clothes this morning and actually said WOW!! I have black pinstripe dress pants and a lillac sweater (a colour that I've never worn before). I looked in the mirror and was dumbfounded!!! I look wonderful. (even if I do say so myself)

Now I just need to get my hair done or cut, it's long enough to sit on at the moment. They I'll have a completely new me.... I'm so damn happy with what I have achieved so far, that I don't really care if I get to goal weight.

Sorry to ramble on.... I got such a boost today that I had to share.

That's fantastic!! I know what you mean. I started at a size 32 (extremely tight 28 right before surgery) and a 4x or 5x for tops. Now I'm a 20/18 for pants and a xl for tops or an x in penningtons/addition-elle. I've had three people that I haven't seen in a long time (they all don't know each other) do triple takes because apparently I look different and they couldn't quite figure out it was me. And one of them has been my parents' neighbour for the past 20 years.

It is so weird to me, but refreshing at the same time.

I just love that statement.... It brings out all of the WONDER!!

I'm so glad to have someone to share the elation of this kind of discovery. The people around me are amazed and some, I think, are jealous or envious. I work with a huge bunch of 'Men's Men' and they never really ever get personal, but today I've have received so many astonished looks and wonderful comments that I'm still floating on cloud nine. It's like the new clothes (that fit) are making their eyes open to how I actually look now...

I could certainly get 'Drunk' on this feeling... but I won't let it go to my head... I just want to enjoy it for the day... lol..
