Hey all:

I just finished talking to Warren, Dreena's husband. Dreena had a successful surgery. Whoo!! But she is currently in a lot of pain so well wishes are appreciated but of anyone wants to visit, please hold off until tomorrow when I talk to Warren again and see if Dreena is up for anyone to see her. Also, if you want to send her well wishes on Facebook, please pm her as she would prefer to tell people herself when she is back home.

Thanks all!! I will keep you all updated as I learn more from Warren.

Good to hear that she made it, despite the pain. Definitely keep us posted as Dawn and I were planning to visit tomorrow.

Cheers!

Adrianna, thanks for being my surgery angel and keeping everyone updated. Thanks for the love and support!

I'm home now, just got home about an hour ago.

Yesterday was a horribly rough day, with alot of pain, nausea, hiccups and dry heaves. They finally got a IV into me (again) with a pediatric sized needle and I was able to have the good anti-nauseants and more hydration. I was much better by last night! I'm able to drink milk and broth and eat chocolate pudding. I'm on my way to recovering.

I had no problems with gas pain, (thank goodness), the staff and care at the Royal Alex were excellent. Pleasant, helpful, informative...it was great.

I'll check in later.

Glad to hear you're home but sorry to hear you had a rough go of it yesterday!   I'm sure that being home will make all the difference and you'll finally get some significant rest.   Take good care of yourself!

Good to hear that everything seems to be kosher now.  Now, the fun begins.  Utilize this time to follow your plan to the letter and make as much progress as you can.  As someone who is approaching 18 months out, I'm slowing down and it's frustrating.  I remember Claudia saying once to do everything you can wihtin a 6 month period.  I scoffed it off thinking that this didn't apply to me.  Boy, I was ever wrong.

Cheers!

Glad you are home and on the road to recovery.  I tend to get very naseous coming out of anesthesia and it takes me all day to be able to open my eyes without spewing all over the place.  Hopefully the worst is over for you and you can begin your road to a better life.
