RNY calcium

Does anyone know why the calcium is CITRATE only? There are lots of brands with elemental and some that only say from oysters? but my info specifically says calcium citrate.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but RNY and Sleevers use Calcium Citrate cause it's better absorbed and broken down by our tummy something to do with the decrease in acid.

From what I've read the calcium carbonate doesnt work as well as we dont absorb it as well after surgery.
