3 month update!
Happy new year!
It's the week of my 3 month surgiversary. I can't believe how quickly that went! I am down just over 40 pds since surgery.The holidays were a *****allenging, I felt more head hunger that I previously have. But I did lose 10 pounds over the month of Dec, a freaking xmas miracle!
I am feeling really energetic lately and am noticing a lot of changes in my body shape. Here's a few stats on my measurements, compared to what size I was only 3 months ago:
8.5 inches lost off chest
7.5 inches lost off waist
8 inches lost off hips
almost 2 inches off my neck
Almost none of my clothes fit, so I am slowly buying new things. My pant size in September was 22 at Addition-Elle. It is now 14 at Reitmans in their dress pants.
It is weird watching all my co-workers in total January diet freak out mode.
This January I am enjoying treating my body well. Feeling proud & kind of amazed at the healthy things I am buying at the supermarket compared to years past, and actually wanting to move my body more.
I had a great time dancing my Ass off at a great New Years Party!

Surgery VSG Oct.8 2010. 23pds lost pre-op. I am 5'6" tall. Feeling amazing!
Happy New Year to you as well and congrats on all your successes. Isn't it amazing the changes our bodies go through. Some days I look in the mirror and I'm amazed at what I see while other days I still see the old me.
Clothing is definetly a difficulty or at least I think, I've given more clothes away to the Good will actually 11 hugh orange garbage bags and still counting. Soon I'm gonna have to break down and buy a few new things cause everything is too big even with a belt and also cause my closet is pretty empty.

1st goal acheived December 27th/2010. 1 week after my 3rd month surgery anniversary.
2nd goal acheived June 4th/2011. 2 weeks after my 8th Month Surgiversary.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't. Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened. My Surgery was September 21/2010
