Calories
I don't think 1000 calories is too much at all. Push through it, keep getting your protein and doing what you're doing. After you get past the 'stall' your weight will come off again!

If you are in doubt maybe you could put a call into your Nutritionist or call your Surgeons clinic. I know after surgery I had a visit from my Nut and she left me a paper that stated all of my do's and don't and thank god cause I was so sick when she visited I couldn't even listen to what she was saying. She was in and out in 2 minute and told me she'd she me in the clinic or call me when I got home. I had a little complication but hey frig I'd do it all over again.
Good Luck Dori, all the best.

Gall Bladder surgery April 12,2012
You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't. Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened. My Surgery was September 21/2010
i tend to eat 1/2 to 3/4 cup of food per sitting i also force myself to eat cottage cheese or yogurt or a boost to get in my protein requirements! i get atleast 6 cups of fluid.. if it wasn't wasn't for the full feeling i would swear i had nothing done! lol
I have had only one food "stuck" a salmon burger chopped small but nope!! Until then i had no problem with anything!! still don't!
So if I am eating more than everyone else I don't forsee my weightloss being comparable?
I will give the dietician a call tomorrow!!
Thanks guys
4 weeks today!
60-72 grams of protein and 1000 calories is AWESOME this soon out. You're doing amazing!
I'm almost 4 months and I get 1250 calories/day on average and 70g of protein. My target is 12-1400 and 65-75 grams of protein.
I use lean meats, lots of dairy products, a small variety of fruits and veggies and the odd protein supplement ( shake, powder, bar) if needed. I fill a 4 cup bottle of water 2x/day and have a couple crystal light too. I'm averaging 64-80oz of water. I had a weight stall from week 5-week 10 and my hair is just starting to fall out more now. Nothing that I am too concerned about as I have a heck of alot of hair. Vitamins are easy to take and my only problem is forgetting to take all my calcium as I can't take all of them at one time. I don't love my sleeve everyday and curse when I'm full after a few bites after looking forward to a meal I prepared for the family but it's life now and I have adjusted.
I'd not be able to survive on a low amount of calories and regardless of how tough it may be-- our bodies need fuel to keep going. A slap on the wrist isn't what I'd be worried about from a deititian---your body is going through trauma from not eating enough. Your skin, hair, nails organs and overall health suffer.
I had days where I wouldn't feel hungry but forced it and started a schedule. I eat the same as before just slower and get 2 snacks in. It's not hard but you have to be accountable for yourself.
Yes, we are all different and all had different surgeries but if you're not eating enough ,wouldn't you want to find out why you aren't able to consume alot at this stage? or find a product to take to boost your calorie content to be in top health?
Just my opinion as I want to be healthy as possible!
