need some encouragement

Mine was a lot like Katrina's. I was accepted into the program in March of 2009. I had my first visit with Dr. Birch in February of 2010. My liver was too fatty as well so I needed to lose another 10lbs. But honestly, no matter what I did..it wasn't coming off. Well I was finally approved for surgery on May 3, 2010. I also had the CT scan done.

I had the RNY surgery as well and did have some complications - my bowel stopped working - but now I'm good. I still get emotional and wish my emotions weren't like a roller coaster some days...BUT I don't regret the surgery. and I know that I know it was the right choice for me.

thank you both for your responses. Sorry it to me so long to get back. really busy at work, but still trying to take time for me. It is really encouraging to read all of the chat that goes on here and the honesty everyone speaks so that I have a reality check about what I am getting myself into. I have had no doubts since I started the modules, just wish I could wave a magic wand and have it all happen tomorrow. I will keep picking up tips from this site and hopefully be able to inform everyone of "my" surgery in the future.  Looking at all of your pics there are so many beautiful women out there and your beautiful on the inside as well for sharing everything with us newbies.
