Well, it's been a week since i was discharged and doing pretty darn good if i do say.  I'm down almost 21lbs from morning of surgery, but i'm just not hungry, it is really hard trying to get any fluid into me.  I'm still on fluids until the tenth and then i can slowly start trying to eat normal foods again, any advice? or am i just over reacting alittle soon? I keep thinking someone could easily become anorexic after going thru this.  Thanks, Arlene

At 10 weeks out I still find it hard to get all my fluids in and I've tried different thing but it's still a chore. I don't get hungry but I try to schedule eating times and stick to them within a 1/2 hour range. I now eat to fuel my body not cause I feel the need to.
Take it easy when starting eating normal foods again cause it can be a not so pleasant experience. I still have a range of foods that I have yet to try mostly because of anexity and in the begining I tryed a few things that gave me the slimmies and it was terrible. I tend to stick with what I know will work and ya my Nut doesn't like it so I'm sure on Monday when I see her she's once again try to encourage me to get out of my food rut and venture out into new food catagory.
Good Luck on your journey.

Kee.
