Does anyone know where to find this without having it ordered? The nutritionist showed us the packets at the meeting but I haven't seen them anywhere.

I had no luck finding it on the shelfs although they told us at the clinic Rexall drug stores and one lady in my pre op class found it at Costco.  I did not check out th Rexall myself but the  drug stores I did go to said they would order it in for me.  I lucked out and had a friend who works for a food distrubutor and she got it for me.  I don't mind the beneprotein as there really is not taste to it and it disolves well.  I add it to my ensure each day.   Good luck with you upcoming surgery it sure is great once it is done.  Do you have to do liquid diet after yours and if so for how long?

 Hi Dori!

Don't worry about the beneprotein powder. Go to Superstore and get some of the President's Choice UNFLAVORED protein powder and add a scoop to your soups. It gives you 27g protein per scoop. I used it when I was on the liquid stage and it helped out immensely. I also go to Walmart and get their Body Fortress Cookies & Cream protein shake mix..... 2 scoops mixed in with 1-1/2 cups of water gives you 50g protein!!! YAY!!!! I still have shakes cause I can't get enough protein in by just eating.

I saw my doctor today and he just looked at me in total shock and said that I looked AWESOME!!!!! He asked how much I have lost and told him that I'm struggling with 1 lb to be down 100. lol He's sooooo pleased with my progress.

Hope my insight on the protein powder has helped.

*hugs*

Just to let you know, if you didn't. Our bodies only absorb 32grams of protein per serving..The rest goes to waste ;o)

P.S. Congrats on your success!!

I have found it at Shopper's Drug Mart.  Ask the pharmacist as it is behind the counter. Around $20 ?  I've started to order from Unjury and like it much better, it is a US product so there's some shipping/exchange costs, but well worth it.
