hospital stay

 Something HAS happened to me.... LIFE!!! lol 

How am I doing? Well.... down 99 lbs as of yesterday morning. YAY!!!!!! I still have 87 lbs to go to hit MY goal weight. I feel great! I joined a gym and actually entered a contest at the gym but as of last Saturday had to drop out cause of having no car now for a couple of months (hubby kinda became close (VERY CLOSE) friends with a cement median last Saturday and car is UNDRIVEABLE). Been having to walk around in this crap outside too. UGH!!! Walked to the store on Wednesday when it was unbelievably cold and actually enjoyed the walk. Walked to the store again yesterday when it was unbearably windy and swore that I would NEVER walk again outside this winter. lol

I had to size down my yoga pants from XL and decided to skip a size and am now in M yoga pants. WHOO HOO!!!! :-D I'm still working out, but not like I was at the gym. I'm just working out on my Wii Fit... I do the yoga on there. 

Hope all goes well with your surgery on the 8th! You're in great hands!!!

The car situation sucks but it sounds as if he is ok and that is the most important thing, forced walking in the cold we've had, YUCK! but atleast it's alot easier to do now I bet!
I was thinking that maybe you were too busy now enjoying your life to sit in front of a computer lol> but it is nice to hear from people who have had the surgery in the same place with the same doctor and share their experience and insight and give advice where they can. It is very helpful!
I'm very excited 12 days left!

I forgot to mention something else to take to the hospital with you..... ummmm...... ahem....... ummmmm..... you know....... ummmmm...... feminine products. lol I got mine the night before surgery. UGH!!!!! What a pain in the arse that was. lol 

The leak test isn't as bad as everyone says. I actually found the stuff they make you drink quite tasty and I wanted to drink it all. lol Oh.... the NG tube coming out feels weird, the jp drain coming out HURTS like hell!!!!! I swear that thing had teeth clamped into my intestines. And the veggie broth they bring you after you're cleared for fluids is to DIE FOR!!!! You'll never believe it until you hear yourself saying that it's the best thing you've ever tasted. hahaha The cranberry juice tastes like crap though. Just a heads up on that one.... my dad actually pulled over to the side of the road and tossed it out for me. hahahaha And as much as I wanted a decaf Timmy's when we got to Taber, I never got it cause I was zonked out in the car and my dad didn't want to wake me up. 

Have been busy lately with stuff. I do get on the puter though..... I'm over in Frontierville (on facebook) as I type. Finished my yoga and a run on the Wii, had a shower, and now I'm contemplating on making a loaf of fresh bread for when my hubby gets home from work tonight. Thank gosh he has the weekend off!!! Tomorrow we're going to the mall.... on the bus! BLECH!!!! Not a fan of the bus. lol Sunday is Shawn's work's Christmas party and the company that's catering it has been told of everything that I can't eat and everything I can and they're making me up something super special. 

lol I guess not much of this has to do with hospital stay does it? Oh well.....
