Is there anyone from Medicne Hat Alberta?

Hello everyone,
I am new to this site, and was wondering if there is anyone from the Medicine Hat area, that is seeing Dr. Nohr?

I am looking to meet some new friends while i am on here for support!
Does anyone know if there is a support meeting at the hospital?  or any clothes exchanes going on in our area?

I'm not from Medicine Hat Dr Nohr takes all of southern AB  really there was no one in calgary until recently.
I have asked to about support groups etc but haven't heard of anything. I like the way the girls in Edmonton seem to know each other and have to go to meetings and do meet socially on occasion from what i gather but I think we are all to spread out around here!

I have heard that there are support groups for Red deer and Calgary together...but I haven't heard anything about Medicine Hat. Sorry!

So maybe we need to start one !  I'm not right in Medicine Hat either, but maybe we can find a location somewhere near the middle of 'the south'... or we could have a virtual support group ??

There is one at Medicine Hat hospital the last Wednesday of the month. Last month Dr. Nohr was the speaker. It starts at 7:00 pm.

Trapped37 I know a girl from Redcliff having surgery the same time as you...very possibly the same day as you. Let me know if you want to get in touch with her and I will get you her information if she's okay with it also.

I wish I was closer for that meeting! maybe one here and there I could make it to.

Denise is the same day as me as well we both moved from the 15th! So sure let us know

I don't really post much on here.... don't really lurk much anymore either. I haven't been to this site for a while. I am on Facebook though. 

There is a support group that meets in Medicine Hat at the hospital. I think they actually had a meeting the day I had my surgery done. lol I haven't attended any support group meetings, and I know that I could probably benefit from hearing from others who have had the surgery too. Life's been kinda rough in the past couple months, moreso this past week! UGH!!!

Oh well.... I'll try to pop in more often again.
