Well i started my vitamin shopping last night! I've got the liquid calcium with D, the prenatal vitamins and I found the biotin which I plan to start a month prior (cant hurt).

I was wondering if anyone chose to work with a personal trainer after their surgery?  I'm thinking it may get me better results and trick my brain into associating my weight loss with the training!

Hi Tammy, I'm also having surgery with Dr. Nohr and I havnt heard of biotin. What is it and if I need to get it where can I find it? Is it similar to beneprotein? Thanks, Arlene.

Biotin helps with hair lost and I got mine at Shopper's Drug Mart for $6.99, it's in the Vitamin section and comes in a tablet. I started taking it before surgery and so far so good.

I found that shopping early helped..

I bought small size bowls , cups and spoons and plates.I used the kids juice cups ( they are sparkly and found at walmart) It keep things cold and gave a small enough opening for less air going down..  I also bought a  mini blender type thingy,,  . I got all the vits also. I didnt get my biotin until after and I take it faithfully.. and even though its slowing down I still see hair leaving. Its not as bad as it could be. I found mine at GNC.. I never thougth to the shoppers.. .. I didnt get a trainer but plan on going to the YMCA  and looking at what they have... Sometimes it helps to have that extra support I know of a few people who have personal trainers and speak highly of them.

oh i really like that idea of small dishes i hadn't even thought! It will help the food not look so puney! lol  I know there will be hair loss regardless but i just figure any help is good!
I found the biotin at walmart 100 tablets for 7.47 i believe? It is in the multi vitamins as well.
Blender I do have but a mini one would make more sense since there wont be much in there

As for the trainer I think having that extra push, that cheerleader behind you could make a big difference, when you ask your spouse to help if your anything like me, you turn on them sometimes when they are trying to help lol!
I live in a small area so there is no YMCA  or any big gyms not even a curves ;) or I would have those options too!

I have one recommendation....baby spoons! They were a godsend the first few weeks out. Teaspoon was sometimes a touch too big, but baby spoon was the right size. Plus if you do take a spoonful too much (it happens!) you aren't taking a large amount in. I used mine for close to a month and a half.
