Boo!!!
Boo!!! It's Halloween and I have completely lost my sweet tooth!
Just thought I would post an update for everyone. I am about 3 weeks out now, and have lost around 20 pds., depending on the scale I am using, and lost 2 sizes and 17 inches total since the pre-op diet (5 wks). CRAZY. It's a good thing I had a real range of clothes left in my closet!
The first week was a bit tough, the first few days I was still pretty uncomfortable with the GAS issue, so took those little gas-x strips and walked as much as I could. Gradually, though, I am feeling more and more energetic and less hungry. I am doing well on the little bites of meat etc., chili, a simple chicken curry, ricotta bake, protein shakes, soya etc.
Last week I had some pain under the incision on the right, just felt muscular and sore (all my incisions are completely healed, no problem). I think I did too much that day and took it easy, and felt better a few days later. I am back working full time and glad I took quite a bit of time off. The time to heal was great, but also to just focus on trying to get in all the protein, water, choking down those Dreaded Vitamins.
It is unreal to feel full on barely an ounce. I get a little burp, and that is it! Done ;) Such a lady!
