Hi Everyone!!!!

Hope you all are enjoying this cooler weather! Winter is on its way whether we like it or not.

Just thought I'd mention--- I LOVE THAT I CHOSE BARIATRIC SURGERY!!! My sleeve has had me at highs & lows the last month but what a ride it's been!! Pre-op I lost 103lbs and post-op I am down 16lbs!! So happy and love all the NSF I have been having. ( more energy, compliments, feel more positive, smaller sizes etc) I got the ok from Dr. Birch to resume "life" again and that is just what I am doing-- just with 6 more pills /day and lots of protein.
One draw back is that I have already started to lose some hair. I'm sure I'll be able to deal with it though as I have a ton of hair!

Has anyone set goals for November yet? Has anyone bought healthy Halloween treats? Just remember those mini chocolate bars are 80 CALORIES EACH!!!!!! Resist the temptation!! We're going with juice boxes and granola bars this yr. Something a bit more nutitious thatn chips & chocolate. Less swets to end up in my body too!! LOL Anyone going to any parties?

My Nov goal is to get a YMCA membership and get out of the house...

 Yupers Im loooking at new things for halloween.. Even though my partner and son are choc. lovers Ididnt want to bring in anyting to tempt me.. I know I can't eat it .. My goal for november is to try and get my protein in. I'm losing my hair like CRAZY! Seriously though, it is really starting to freak me out and I hate it. I called the clinic on Friday to discuss the protein bars. First off, my dietian is gone - Tara no longer works at the clinic. So I have fill in dietians right now until Riannon comes back from Mat leave in January. Secondly, they would prefer me not to do the protein bars since they are usually a lot higher in sugar and they worry about me dumping. So right now, I'm not too sure what I'm going to do as I know I'm not getting my protein in.

I am doing halloween pencils and erasers and stickers this year!! No candy comming into my house this halloween. Both my girls are on board and will be getting money for halloween in trade for Candy. They were more than happy to get a little spending money and are excited about handing out the pencils, erasers and stickers!!

Hey Just An FYI

      I take Biotin   from GNC   120 caps in a grey bottle... and that helps. I do loose hair but not as bad as I used to.. I have also had my hair dyed and it hasnt made a huge difference.

I also saw the card packs at Costco.. they seemed like a great Idea.. I get more teens here .. Most children seem to head to the warm malls.. ?? That  idea for extra spending money is also a great idea when my grandbaby gets bigger,,

Ohhh I LOVE the pencil and sticker idea!!! My 5 yr old would love that too!!

Adrianna---- do you like tuna?? I eat a can/day and its 30g! As far as protein bars go with -- I'm going to eat what I can to get my protein while mantaining lower calories but I have the sleeve so I can tolerate more and not that to worry about the dumping part. Tuna, cottage cheese , milk , eggs, oatmeal. It truely is the toughest part and I wish we'd have a magica answer for this....I'm thinkin about you!!!

My issue is that I hate eating the same thing over and over. but I may have to get over that one eh? Apparently they prefer me ot not have my smoothies either but they are letting that slide because I'm not getting my protein in. Cottege Cheese and most diary products still make me sic****ep on retrying and keep on feeling so sick that it just isn't fun.

Thanks for the Biotin tip though Karen. I'm going to try that.

Thanks Kim for the suggestions..I do truly wish that there was a magical answer. Such is life I guess.
