plication reversal

Has anyone had a plication reversal. 17 days post op.I have no restriction. Fluids flow threw me and I am hungry all the time but eat very little. 15 to 30 minutes after eating,,the hunger is back. And yes I take ant acid pills so its not just acid makeing me feel hungry.I lost 19 pounds and as soon as I started to eat anything , the weight is going up. This was a total waiste of 7000 dollars. The pouch is too big or something but I will not go threw this again. If there is another surgery, it will be to take it out and forget about it.

Kacee: Most of us on this board (The Alberta forum) never paid for our surgeries. It is covered by our health plan. Also, most of us have had one of the same three doctors doing our surgery and they have a standard pouch size that they make, no matter how big the person is. All I can say is that, I would NEVER get my reversed - I love my new stomache BUT it does take getting used to. I am 3 months out from my surgery, and I still have days where I get sick or eat the wrong food. It is a learning process. I did gain a bit of weight back when I started to eat solid food, BUT after a few weeks my body settled down and I started losing again... DONT give up!
