hey hun

I dont get it.. I was on the LD for over 3 wks and I was told I could do the ensure of glucerana and either milk or yogurt nothing over 100 .. and they yogurt i had was eighty.. Its amazing how depending on who you see depends on what you are or arent allowed. It will make the transition so much easier.. I did have 5 glucerna a day also.. and after surgery I was basically on LD for a long while. I sure love when I read the stories and feel like its great to have this support.. Im hoping all goes well for you.. You will do amazing.. I hope to meet you in the near future. Support Is what we all need..

I'm not sure you should be having broth, it might be too high in sodium and I seem to remember my dietitian saying that it was important to get that out of your system before surgery.  Maybe you should contact your dietitian to find out for sure.

I was only able to have 4 High Protein Ensure or 3 plus 1 cup of milk, and as much calorie-free liquids as I wanted.

I wish you luck on the rest of your liquid diet!  You can get through it, just think of the amazing life long change you are about to make!  It's so worth the short-term pain.
