Oh Dear God Kim please be careful. I never realized that dehydration was so serious and has so many side effects. It was actually a scary experience. For you I'm even more concerned cause you have those 2 precious boys, so you can't get sick.. At least for me all I have to worry about is myself. Just so you know the side effect you should google Dehydration and keep and eye on it.
You are definitely right about the new vomiting techniques after sleeve surgery, before I kinda knew i was gonna get sick, you know that pressure in the back of your throat feeling, ya no that doesn't happen anymore it just like you said falls out of ya.
At my check-up Dr Birch was concerned about the nausea feeling and vomiting cause apparently it can take up to 6 weeks depending on the patient for a staple line to form scar tissue and seeing as I'm such a slow healer he wants me to keep the nausea  under of control and when I was vomiting I was so scared to blow a staple. But in emerg the Doctor ran blood work and contacted the RAH and assured me there is no leak from what she could tell from the lab results. Lucky me.

I'm feeling better than I was 2 days ago but I've got to say I'm definitely not 100% yet but I know it'll come. Feel better Kim and thanks for posting.

Kee.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't.  Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened.  My Surgery was September 21/2010

Thanks so much for posting Tammy. It definitely was an experience and I'm now more deligent in trying to get more fluids in. Still a little hard but I'm up to 5-6 cups a day now. I find mixing 1/2 water with 1/2 of the 10 calorie Diet Cranberry is helping, also crystal lite make it easier to get the water down.
