Calgary support group?

Hey everyone,

I am getting my surgery on Oct 15th in Las Vegas and will be coming to Calgary for a few months to recover. Does anyone know of any Calgary WLS support groups?

As far as I'm aware as I'm from Calgary,and my surgery is in Nov, there is no support group here.

Hi Lindsay, I'm from Calgary and am having my surgery in November and as far as I am awre there isn't a support group here. Arlene

hey guys there is a support group in Calgary and Red Deer.. They are really on Face book . Under weight loss surgery in Red Deer and most of them do both meetings. they have what is called a coffee meeting and support group.. They just had a bbq and clothing exchange. I have friends on my face book that attend it.. and they say they are very active..

i just opened a facebook  support group site for anyone in the Calgary area who is interested in chatting and possibly getting together pre and post wls if anyone is interested.  Thanks
