I'd love to try hooping.  Will you bring one to the next bellydance class just to show us?

Piper:  Sure I'll bring one to show, probably a 48" one that I use at home.

I make every size from 38-52"

52 is what I started with, because I was built very big around the middle when I started!

Hmm...any ladies who are seriously interested in hooping, do you mind sending me a message and letting me know?  Maybe I COULD get a hoop group going somewhere.  I'd need time to work on finding a space.

The classes are on Sunday from 3:30 to 4:30 for now (there won't be one this Sunday due to Thanksgiving).  We signed up for 6 classes to start.  I know that Adrianna has done a drop in, but not sure what she has paid.  It is held at Bedouin Beats on 118 Ave and 94 Street, it sure is fun.

Feature Class - Bodaliscious Bellydance - Starts Sunday Sept 26th for 6 weeks 3:30PM to 4:30PM

What area of Edmonton is everyone at? I'd hate to show and tell the hoops in someone else's studio. Maybe I can find a space for us to meet some time.

Right, hadn't thought of that.  I'm in northeast Edm.  How much do you charge for your hoops?

Send me a message too! I'm interested in starting a little work out area in my basement for myself. And I think hooping would be fun. Oh and I live in NE edmonton. Really close to 50st and yellowhead.

I did do the drop in for belly dancing on Sunday and I paid $15. It is actually cheaper for me to pay the $15 at a time than to pay the $84 plus GST since I don't be able to make the class on the 24th either. But I'm planning on going to the studio today and picking up a hip thingy.

Adrianna, girl, we're almost NEIGHBOURS!  You should come by my place :)

I'll send you the same message that I just sent Nancy!

The good thing about a hoop...is it is there for you, all day..every day...and will last you forevah.  I honestly don't know what you could do to break the darn things. Mine has been used and also abused by the kids and still treating me fine.  It's a good investment.  (and you can store it under your bed)

Happy hip scarf hunting!  *jingle jingle*
